Gall bladder is one of the organs linked with the digestive processes. It acts as a temporary store of bile received from liver. It also concentrates the bile juice. From here, the bile is diverted to duodenum (section of small intestine). It helps in the metabolism of fats i.e., breaking them down and absorbing fats from food. This process of transferring bile takes place with the help of network of tubes called bile ducts.
These are a very common problem of the gall bladder. The Gall stones develop when the cholesterol starts building up in the gall bladder. With time, the deposition continues. The Gall Stones obstruct the flow of bile juice.
