We exist in the most evolved stage of mankind, but in this process, we have forgotten to live mindfully, eat mindfully, breathe mindfully and sleep mindfully. We are living in the virtual world where financial success is considered to be the utmost goal of life. Considering this, health usually takes the backseat.
Our society brings up children by encouraging them to have an aim or ambition in life. Being ambitious is good but the ambition of leading a healthy life should also be emphasized in children’s life. Parents usually take daily updates of their child’s curricular activities, like how much time was spent by them on self study etc. but nobody takes updates of their involvement in sporting activities and no one encourages them for the same.
We love eating out, travelling, holiday making, shopping, partying and whatever but we don’t love our body as we hardly take care for its well being. We skip meals, we don’t eat real foods, and we either skip meals or eat while gadgeting or working, we don’t sleep until midnight. These are the habits that make the foundation of the disease in the body.
Our lives would become better if the circadian rhythm is followed and the life is led the way it is meant to be. As it is said, “Food is thy medicine”, this medicine shall definitely be given a sincere try. It’s time that everyone gets food educated.
I am thankful to the supreme almighty that he has given me the knowledge to improve other people’s lives and to make food choices for them. This is ultimately my superpower.
I shall always try to guide and mentor the people, in the field of dietetics and help them lead a quality life. I would constantly make efforts to boost up the female health in the downtrodden societies.
I have a dream of a “Disease Free Nation“. I envision that day when as a nation we shall be able to eradicate lifestyle diseases like diabetes, obesity, heart diseases etc.
